Braai Out season 4 on
POPULAR outdoor fete, Braai Out is now a permanent calendar event with the 2020 outing for the extravaganza already on cards.
The response to last year’s three editions which were held at Kingfisher Park was enough motivation for them to keep going despite several challenges.
Braai Out managed to unite musicians, socialites and comedians who entertained audiences and revellers.
One year into the game, they were nominated for the promoter of the year which they described as a milestone achievement in a category that featured other heavyweights like Impala, Pabloz and 2 Kings Entertainment.
“We are making the event a permanent feature on the country’s entertainment calendar and in our first year we got a huge recognition for our efforts by Zima.
“This alone is enough motivation for us to keep going and this year we are going big.
“Plans for our first event of 2020 or the fourth edition are already on course and we will be announcing the plans we have for our followers,” Tamba Events’ Nigel Chinovhiringa told the Daily News.
He said 2019 was a learning curve for them, facing challenges in their journey and managing to stay afloat.
“The year 2019 was full of ups and downs, we faced many challenges, suffered losses, contemplated quitting at one point, but we carried on fuelled by only our passion for music and getting to be recognised for an award was a win on its own.”
Chinovhiringa said they have managed to forge a relationship with entertainers from various fields which he believes will make the road easier for them this year.
“We will keep working harder and this year we are going big and better. We have managed to strengthen our relationship with entertainers and this will go a long way in having a vibrant line up for our events.”
