BADNEWS Studio founder, Kudzai Jaravaza is making strides in the gospel arena as a church pastor in South Africa. Now popularly known as Apostle K, Jaravaza says he has been using music to preach the word over the years.

“I moved to South Africa in 2015 where I founded Observer Ministries International in Cape Town and I am happy with the impact I am making here,” Jaravaza said.

In the neighbouring country, Jaravaza is now well known for his charismatic spiritual leadership and being one of the pioneers of the new generation of prophetic, healing and deliverance ministers.

Prior moving to South Africa, Jaravaza spent time in Gaborone, Botswana where he established himself as a music producer under the Badnews Studios as well as a marketer through Eastwinds Advertising Agency, which then worked with big brands such as Orange network, Options clothing Company and Truworths.

“I retired from music in 2011 to focus on ministry under WCCC church and Blessing TVi thanks to the mentorship of Justin Lwemba Ngoma in Tlokweng, Botswana,” he said.

Jaravaza is happy with the impact he made in the music industry and business circles. “I started Badnews Studios while at Junior High school in Botswana and I am glad that it rose to became one of the biggest licensed recording studios and online radio station thanks to endorsements from politicians, mainstream radio djs, local and South African artists such as Kuli Chana, Culoe de Song and actor Andile from Rhythm City on Etv.

“During that era, I was also appointed by my late father— Tadios Jaravaza— as the manager of a bakery called Pie Pleasures, which specifically made meat pies. “However, somehow, I knew I had a divine calling and I was already sensitive to God’s calling,” he recalled.
