Tsvarakadenga feedback excites Nyakujara

EVERGREEN afro-fusion singer Clare Nyakujara, who is flying the Zimbabwean flag high in the United States of America, has finally released her latest song Tsvarakadenga (Beautiful Woman).

Affectionately known as Nyakujeez Bay bay, Nyakujara told the Daily News the feedback of the song on the market is encouraging.

“We dropped the song together with the visuals on February 21 and the feedback is awesome,” she said.

The song comes at a time when the world is entering the International Women’s Month— March.

“Tsvarakadenga is a song that’s like a big, beautiful painting, but instead of paint, it uses music to show how amazing and pretty women are. It’s a lady singing to her partner, saying, “Look at me, I’m your queen, I make your life exciting and spicy, I’m super cool, and I make your heart race!” It uses a special word from Zimbabwe— Tsvarakadenga— which means beautiful, to describe how she feels.”

She revealed that women deserve a special place in the society.

“I wrote the song as I wanted to shout out how incredible and stunning women are, especially in the way they light up the lives of their partners. It’s like when someone makes your day brighter and your heart fuller; that’s the feeling this song wants to celebrate.

“This tune is for everyone, especially for those who love to feel love and excitement. It’s for anyone who likes to groove to a beat that makes them feel proud and happy about the special connections they have with their loved ones,” she said.

Nyakujara moved to the United States in 2016 to work for the Disney World’s Animal Kingdom thanks to the efforts of her agent Zuma Zuma.

“This unique opportunity allowed me to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Africa through music and performance, and it was an honour to be part of such an immersive and authentic experience at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom.

“Performing at a renowned and globally recognized venue like Disney World significantly increases my visibility and recognition as a musician. This exposure led to new opportunities, collaborations, and a broader fan base.

“The rigorous performance schedule and the demand for high-quality entertainment at Disney World enhanced my stage presence, musical skills, and overall professionalism as a performer,” she said.
