Top African achievers to be honoured

THE Honourable Cabinet Summit Awards will recognise Africa’s top 50 achievers across key sectors including law, medicine, education, and business at a high-profile ceremony next month.

The event, scheduled for November 22 at the Rainbow Towers in Harare, will also honour elected city and town presidential Hall of Famers from each province, who will be certified as Hall of Famers of Excellence.

Awards Secretary Mitchell Sibanda said the event was designed to celebrate excellence and inspire others across the continent.

“We are honouring those who have reached the pinnacle of success in their respective fields,” Sibanda said.

“Their achievements reflect the spirit of innovation, resilience, and leadership that is driving Africa forward.”

Guests will attend a formal dinner featuring the presentation of golden plaques, presidential suits, and complimentary bottles of honey.

Organisers have described the evening as “an award ceremony within an award ceremony”, marking a new chapter in the recognition of African excellence.
