A-LEVEL student Josiah Muchada from Eaglerise College has penned a book encouraging young people to make informed life choices, warning that poor decisions can have long-lasting, detrimental effects on their futures.
Titled Zvamuri Ndaimbova, Zvandiri Muchazova, Muchada’s debut book, published by Sahara Publishers, was inspired by Aaron Chiundura Moyo’s writing skills, which profoundly shaped Muchada’s writing style and perspective.
“This thought -provoking work looks into the devastating consequences of poor decision -making and self-destructive behavior, which lead to regret, pain, and loss. Conversely, it illuminates the transformative power of positive change, fostering personal growth, self-awareness, and holistic improvement,” Muchada said.
“Key themes include the perils of drug abuse and self-destructive behavior, longterm effects of pre-mature school dropouts, improper association and the dangers of toxic relationships.”

Witnessing firsthand the impact and challenges affecting the youths, seeing the struggles they face, Michada felt an overwhelming urge to take proactive measures, thereby writing about these pressing issues including drug abuse, self-destructive behavior, premature school dropouts, peer influence and improper association among others.
“My objective is to provide constructive insights and guidance, empowering young individuals to make informed decisions and foster personal growth.”
Currently writing an English novel, exploring how the lack of wisdom can lead to poor decision -making, Josiah thrives at the intersection of creativity and technology.

“Writing my first book in form 5 was a pivotal experience that ignited my love for storytelling. I craft engaging content that explores the impact of decision-making on human lives. In my free time, I am often reading, learning new things, and connecting with like-minded individuals who share any topic of interest.” Josiah embarked on his writing career in 2023.
