NETONE group chief executive officer Raphael Mushanawani has been inducted into the 2026 Business Hall of Fame.
The honour, which is in recognition of his transformative impact on the country’s telecommunications sector, was conferred on Mushanawani last week by The Champions Africa.
Mushanawani, who was among several leaders honoured on the night for demonstrating outstanding management capabilities, innovation, and measurable organisational growth, was quick to credit his team at NetOne for the achievement.
“It would not have been possible were it not for the team that I work with. It is a diversified team, but what keeps us together is the spirit of success. I am grateful for the support that they have given to me,” he said.
The remarks underscored the value the telecommunications giant places on teamwork and organisational culture as it navigates stiff competition and rapid digital transformation within Zimbabwe’s telecommunications sector.
Other distinguished business leaders drawn from diverse sectors of Zimbabwe’s economy inducted on the night included ZB Holdings chief executive officer Shepherd Fungura, CBZ Holdings chairman Luxon Zembe, both representing the financial services sector.
National Biotechnology Authority chief executive officer Dexter Savadye, Justin Machibaya of Homelux Group, Glen Peters of KDV Bedding, Wilfred Matukeni of the National Oil Infrastructure Company, and Moses Kurenjekwa of Ecobank Zimbabwe were also among the inductees. Also honoured were president of the Zimbabwe Building Contractors Association Tinashe Manzungu, Realtor Ville Group’s Aaron Kumanja and Glow Petroleum’s Nennice Chinhara.
