DANCEHALL music stars Killer T and Freeman will for the first time fly with their bands for this year’s edition of the ZimLink Up concert set for Birmingham on April 30.
Over the years the musicians have been traveling with djs but this time around, they will play with live bands.
Also on tour are musicians Nutty O Takura and ExQ who shall be using Shabach The Band.
Killer T born Kelvin Kusikwenyu will travel with his Hoy Property Band comprising of Russell Kudakwashe Manyika (bassist), Palmer Chinosengwa (Keyboard), Brendon Farai Ruwizhi (Drummer), Leah Kasinamunda (Backing vocalist) and Alexander Kadzviti (DJ).
His manager Kudzai Biston said traveling with a live band will ensure that fans have value for their money.
Freeman real name Emegy Chizanga under the guidance of his manager Watson Kafelapanjila will have their HKD Band made up of keyboardist Sydney Sithole, bassist Freedom Chinosengwa, lead guitarist Ngonidzashe Shamudzarira and producer Brian Gwite.
Kafelapanjila said ever since they started using a live band they have not looked back.
