Kadoma private hospital offers free medical care

MUDUVURI Pan African Hospital in Kadoma, owned by businessman Jimayi Muduvuri, is now offering free medical service to every patient in need.

When it opened its doors last April, the 1 540-bed hospital, which was officially opened by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, offered free medication to people living with disabilities and war veterans. Muduvuri told the Daily News yesterday, that in response to his timely gesture, patients were coming in high numbers to access free medical services at the hospital.

“Everyone one is getting medical services free of charge and we are continuing to import more medical equipment.

“The hospital has been receiving an average of 300 patients per day since it was commissioned and they were expecting to receive new cancer machines before August,” Muduvuri said.

He added he was complementing the government’s efforts through offering free medical services at the hospital.

“As a businessman, I provide free medical services at my hospital. I am doing it for my own Africa and Zimbabwe. However, I am disheartened by fellow business entrepreneurs who are hiking prices unjustifiably.” Commissioning the hospital in April, Mnangagwa applauded Muduvuri for contributing in improving the country’s health sector.
