Q: Can you shed more light on 3ktv’s show “Hurudza”?

A: “Hurudza” is a show where I meet up with different farmers and I am always inspired by their different stories. Hurudza is one of the popular shows on 3Ktv as farming is the backbone of the country. People tune to 3Ktv for the latest developments or trends in agriculture.

Q: Apart from “Hurudza”, which other programmes do you present on 3Ktv and which one is your favourite?

A: I also present “Ngariedze”, 3Ktv’s morning news bulletin. Truly speaking, it’s really difficult to pick out one as a favourite show because they are all unique and the programs challenge me to always be creative.

Q: As a female presenter what are some of the challenges you are facing in this industry?

A: Well, I would say some of the challenges I have faced as a television presenter are probably the resources for television presenting. It really requires a lot to build one’s confidence, to stand in front of the cameras and feel like the people watching appreciate you as a person and the effort you are putting in. So as a young presenter with a family sometimes resources could be strained.

Q: What should be done to address those challenges?

A: The challenges could be addressed by building the capacity of television presenters both financially and mentally.

Q: What are some of the life lessons that you have learned from 3Ktv?

A: 3Ktv taught me more on the importance of teamwork. I am one fellow who never believed in teamwork, but 3Ktv was more like an eye opener.
