Selmor’s big night . . . as Macheso supports her

TODAY is a big day for songstress Selmor Mtukudzi as she releases her sixth album, Dehwe Renzou.
The launch has been set for the Harare Showgrounds RM Garden Hall. She will be supported by sungura virtuoso Alick Macheso and Sasha.
The album carries 11 tracks produced by Steve Dyer at Dyertribe Studios in South Africa and Macdee and features seasoned instrumentalists among them Sam Mataure on drums, Never Mpofu on the bass guitar, Piki Kasamba on percussion and Selmor’s husband Tendai Manatsa on the lead guitar.
Her management has promised a polished act tonight to mark her journey in keeping her late father’s legacy.
Macheso back to work
Sungura musician Alick Macheso is making a return to activity after his annual leave. He opens the action with a performance tonight at the Harare Showgrounds supporting songstress Selmor Mtukudzi.
On Saturday he takes his act to Budiriro with a performance at Charehwa Matombo in Budiriro 2. He completes the weekend with a performance at Zebra Village, a family show on Sunday.
Sulu lands at Mushandirapamwe
Dendera musician Suluman Chimbetu is also in action with a performance at his favourite hunting ground, Mushandirapamwe Hotel in Highfield on Saturday.
He will be supported by songstress Jean Masters. On Sunday he hosts families at Club Hideout in Lochnivar.
Andy Muridzo in Kuwadzana
Contemporary singer Andy Muridzo has a gig in Kuwadzana 2 tonight. He will be performing at K2.
Tryson in Fio
Dendera musician Tryson Chimbetu will be in Highfield with a performance at Ganya Night Club at Gazaland Shopping Centre on Saturday.
Soul Jah Love in Fio
Dancehall music star Soul Jah Love will tomorrow be in Fio with a performance at Island Nite Club at Gazaland Shopping Centre. He will be supported by upcoming chanters among them Chihomu homu.
Kinna invades Harare Gardens
Dancehall singer Kinna will tomorrow stage a big bash in the Harare Gardens to celebrate his birthday. He will also take the opportunity to launch new singles.
Munya Mataruse in Chinhoyi
Afro-jazz crooner Munya Mataruse will tonight travel to Chinhoyi for a performance at CUT Hotel.
He will be sampling songs from his new album Chamupupuri.
On Saturday he will be back in the capital with a performance at Truck Inn in Southerton.
Moyondizvo at Legends
Crooner Moyondizvo, Remias Tafireyi will entertain patrons at Legends Bar in Chinhoyi.
