Sandra Ndebele headlines Nyaradzo draw

MUSICIAN and dancing sensation Sandra Ndebele is expected to put up a scintillating performance when she takes to the stage during the Nyaradzo Group’s Sahwira Wear second draw on Friday.

The draw will be conducted virtually starting at 5pm and will be livestreamed on the Nyaradzo Group’s Facebook and YouTube pages due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Viewers will definitely have smiles on their faces once again as they will be entertained by the ever-green Sandra, who will serenade her audience with some of her top songs which made her a force to reckon with in the music industry.

Sandy, as the Bulawayo-born artist is affectionately known, has not only performed across the length and breadth of Zimbabwe, but beyond its borders in countries such as South Africa, India, Dubai, China, the United Kingdom (UK) and Japan.

This has earned the versatile artist several accolades and recognitions, amongst them, ambassadorial roles for the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, the National Blood Service, Mpilo Central Hospital and Suzuki.

Friday’s virtual event will be hosted by the ever-bubbly Zazalicious and Cde Phil, who are themselves household names in the country’s showbiz circles.

Nyaradzo Group chief executive Phillip Mataranyika said the prizes set to be won this Friday are more than those in the first draw, and include a tractor with a plough, a motorcycle, two laptops, two mobile phones, two iPads, a holiday for two in Nyanga, and a holiday for two in Vumba.

“Four lucky winners will enter the summer in style as they visit the magnificent Vumba and the majestic Nyanga,” said Mataranyika.

The ongoing Sahwira Wear and Win promotion has kept the group’s stakeholders excited since its launch on June 18, 2021.

Participants have so far been treated to a first mini virtual draw which was held on July 23, with lucky winners walking away with fabulous prizes.

Mataranyika said as evidenced in the previous draw, the promotion has in its own way lifted people’s spirits in otherwise difficult times wherein most families have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The levels of participation have so far been clearly indicative of the fact that even in dire times such as these, it is necessary to try and put a smile on at least one person’s face,” Mataranyika said.

The promotion is open to Nyaradzo Group’s policyholders, together with their dependants who are aged above 18 years.

To participate, one has to have a valid Nyaradzo policy, then buy Sahwira Wear merchandise worth $2 000. The branded apparel is available online or from any Nyaradzo branch.
