KADOMA-BASED farmer, Rureyi Memory Raiva walked away with the grand prize of a Mazda T35 in the 2023 Gain Cash and Carry promotion dubbed ‘Zvirimubhokisi/Okusebhokisini.’

Gain Cash and Carry, which operates 68 branches across Zimbabwe, ran weekly draws from November 13, 2023 to December 13, 2023, in which one was required to spend a minimum of US$100 or equivalent in local currency at any of the outlets.

To qualify for one of the four grand prizes one had to spend a minimum of US$500. Grand prize winner Raiva said the truck would help her take her business to a higher level.

“I am elated at having won this Mazda T35 truck. I cannot believe I came out as the first grand winner for the promotion. This valuable asset (Mazda T35 truck) will help me in my business,” Raiva told the Daily News yesterday.

The prize recipients, most accompanied by their spouses and families, were euphoric as they shook hands with the company’s senior executives after receiving their awards.

Speaking on the sidelines of the handover ceremony at the Boshoff branch in Harare, Gain Cash and Carry marketing manager Carl Kusada promised a bigger and more exciting Zvirimubhokisi/Okusebhokisini promotion this year.
