THE MDC Alliance has fired its national executive members, Douglas Mwonzora, Elias Mudzuri and Morgen Komichi, for associating with the Supreme Court ruling that replaced Nelson Chamisa with Thokozani Khupe as the leader of the country’s biggest opposition party.
Addressing the media to outline the resolutions made by the party’s national standing committee on Wednesday, MDC Alliance deputy national chairperson Job Sikhala said the trio had automatically expelled themselves when they claimed to be members off the MDC-T
“The MDC Alliance has noted that Morgen Komichi, Douglas Mwonzora and Elias Mudzuri have decided to cooperate with Zanu PF and the state. They, therefore, have expelled themselves from the MDC Alliance and are forthwith relieved of their positions and membership in the party.
They are, therefore, withdrawn from all positions to which they had been deployed by the party. Replacements have been made and shall be announced in due course,” Sikhala said. …
