IN 2024, the TEM Foundation celebrates its 11th anniversary, marking over a decade of dedication to transforming the lives of orphaned children through education.
Founded by the visionary Dr. Tsuu Machingura, the TEM Foundation is a self-funded organization that pays school fees for primary school children from Grade 1 to Grade 7.
Dr. Tsuu believes that a child’s future is shaped from an early age, and her commitment to primary education reflects this conviction.
To commemorate this significant milestone, members of the TEM Foundation visited several primary schools in Munkula, Gutu, Makande, and Musambakaruma covering 15 schools, where they have been making a substantial impact in these areas.
These visits provided an opportunity to engage directly with the communities they serve and celebrate the achievements of the past 11 years.
During these visits, the foundation had the honor of meeting with Chiefs from the respective areas, who expressed gratitude for the invaluable work carried out by TEM Foundation and its founder.
The Chiefs, teachers, and school heads acknowledged the positive changes brought about by the foundation’s efforts to educate orphaned and underprivileged children.
In addition to these meaningful interactions, the foundation distributed food hampers to parents, teachers, and students and T-shirts and caps to teachers as tokens of appreciation. These gestures were warmly received and added a festive spirit to the celebrations.
To make the events more engaging and enjoyable, the foundation organized dance competitions for the children at each school visited. These competitions brought joy and excitement, highlighting the foundation’s commitment not only to education but also to creating memorable and positive experiences for the children.
