Baba Harare, Mabamura collabo makes waves

BABA Harare’s song Stambo has taken the music industry by storm, thanks to the natural voice of Mabamura, a gifted upcoming musician from Mutare.

The dreadlocked Baba Harare featured Mabamura, who hails from Bocha area in Mutare, on his recently released video after noticing his raw talent.

“I got to know of him (Mabamura) on social media. He has some video clips on social media which attracted a lot of attention. I then went in search of him to give him a platform to prove himself and I am glad he has done it,” Baba Harare told the Daily News.

The new video of the song Stambo (Sweet) was uploaded on Youtube on October 3 and as of yesterday at least 60 000 music fans had watched it, leaving interesting comments.

Real name Braveman Chizvino, Baba Harare served in Jah Prayzah’s Third Generation band as a lead guitarist for eight years. Before that, he worked with the Sigma Boys for two years.

Baba Harare has five studio albums so far and these are Chikwama Changu, Minamato YaRasta,  Ramba Wakadzvanya, Generator and Izvi Zvinoitirwei Izvi.
