AMA appoints new CEO, moves to digitise

THE Agricultural Marketing Authority (AMA) has appointed a new chief executive officer (CEO), Clever Isaya, as the company is moving towards digital solutions that will enable the organisation to service the nation amid disruptions brought about by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

This comes as the Covid-19 pandemic has shifted the way businesses operate, calling for the adoption of digital technologies to enable ease of doing business.

Isaya, who took over from acting CEO Nancy Zitsanza, is an accomplished business turnaround strategist with over 18 years combined industry experience acquired in manufacturing, information and communication technologies, telecommunications and financial technology sectors, and has served in various capacities in many organisations.
