ENCORE Group’s Business Development and Compliance Manager Leonorah Mugariri has died. She was 36
Mugariri who survived with one daughter succumbed to cancer on the 24TH of October and was buried today at their family farm in Banket.
In a statement announcing her death, Encore group Chief Executive Officer Batsirai Joel Matiza said they were saddened by Mugariri’s passing as she was a “valued member of the encore group family and will be greatly missed.”
“During this difficult time, we extend our condolences to the Mugari family and friends,” Encore group said.
Mugariri was described by friends, relatives and family members as a motivated and ambitious professional who possessed the required level of professionalism and dynamism needed to deliver.
She was said to be able to keep a level head at all times, nurture and grow a business, evaluate opportunities and risks and also deliver innovative new solutions to challenges.
As a legal practitioner with over ten years of post-examination experience in private practice in Zimbabwe, her portfolio had been predominantly focused on corporate law, including industrial advisory services, drafting of commercial agreements, and company secretarial work.
As a Compliance Officer, she applied and merged compliance management skills which include risk management with her legal experience to deliver comprehensive advisory services.
