DENDERA muso Tryson Chimbetu and Kessia “Muchaneta” Masona will be the major draw cards at tonight’s Jam Session at City Sports Bar in Harare.
The event will also feature Flame Ndombele, Talking Guitars and Bana Ngwasuma among others.
“We are glad to host Tryson and Muchaneta as the main artistes at tonight’s Jam Session. We hope upcoming artistes will learn a thing or two from the two,” City Sports Bar manager Hapaguti “Harpers” Mapimhidze said.
The event is meant to promote local acts.
“The idea is to give artistes a platform to showcase their works before a mature and sizeable crowd. We are happy the weekly event is bearing some fruits.”
Last week’s edition of the event was headlined by veteran afro-fusion musician Progress Chipfumo who successfully took fans down the memory lane as he performed his timeless classics in the form of Dai Ndaiziva, Vanochema and Tsiurika to name a few.
“We want to make every edition a memorable one,” Mapimhidze said.
