Our party is ready for the by-elections

South Africa, as the economic hub of the region, plays a vital role in promoting economic growth, trade, and investment in Sadc.

EDITOR — The Patriotic Zimbabweans  Party is contesting the March 26 by-elections . We are contesting in three parliamentary seats and seven local government Wards .

We are glad to inform the nation and women lobby groups that out of the seven local government candidates, five are women, while one out of the three contesting for MPs is female .

We are a party that does not only equalise opportunities, but gender sensitive as well .

As a party we believe that  women are  capable and equal to the task when it comes to representation in the political, social and economical  space, hence we pride ourself in this achievement despite the limited resources facing the party.

We urge women organisations to continue with their empowerment programmes that help women develop their confidence and self esteem and participate efficiently in all political and economical spheres.
