Local charity uplifts Zimdancehall artist with support

Mike Saujeni, has received a much-needed boost from the Prophetic Prayer Network Charity (PPNC), a local humanitarian organisation.

CHITUNGWIZA-BASED Zimdancehall artiste Micho Bacho, real name Mike Saujeni, has received a much-needed boost from the Prophetic Prayer Network Charity (PPNC), a local humanitarian organisation.

The support came in the form of groceries, providing some relief to the artist who has faced significant challenges.

Born with a disability and reliant on a wheelchair for mobility, Micho Bacho expressed his gratitude for the assistance.

“My musical career is still developing, and I have yet to see its rewards. This donation comes at a crucial time, and I’m deeply appreciative of the support during these difficult moments,” he said.

PPNC, a subsidiary of Life Fire International Ministries, aims to make a practical impact within communities.

“Faith without works is meaningless. We believe in showing love through action, not just attending church services. Our goal is to create positive change in the lives of those around us,” said PPNC director, Last Zimbowora.

Micho Bacho’s music, including tracks like Mutakura and Road, reflects his personal journey.

In “Mutakura”, he encourages listeners to embrace life despite its challenges.

“All my songs are inspired by my upbringing. Sometimes we need to focus on life’s positives and rise above our struggles,” he said.

His song “Road” is a heartfelt prayer, asking for God’s intervention and guidance in both his music career and life.
