KILLER T, pictured, is set to unleash a potentially explosive 17-track Zimdancehall album titled Inzwai Kuchemawo Mambo this Saturday.

This is the Takangodaro hitmaker’s latest album following his well-received Mashoko Anopfura album which was released in 2018.

After spending the last three years perfecting this new project, Killer T is hopeful Inzwai Kuchemawo Mambo will be another huge success.

“To give my fans a real deal, I have worked with seven local music producers to cater for everyone and there are no collaborations. I am confident with the album,” Killer T said through his manager, Kudzai “Super” Biston.

This time around, the Chairman, as Killer T is popularly known by his multitude of fans, has engaged the likes of Cymblex, Oskid, Aya T, Maselo and Sunshine to work the production of the forthcoming album.

The Makarova Gunnaz hitmaker has also been working with promoter Boss Werras to complete this new project.

With the world grappling with the Covid-19 pandemic, Killer T’s team is still considering the best strategy of unveiling the album.

At the moment, all public gatherings are limited to 30 people while music shows remain banned since March 2020.

Due to the health restrictions currently in place, most musicians, who have new projects, have opted for online launches.

“Finer details of the official launch will be communicated in due course,” Biston added.

Killer T, whose real name is Kelvin Kusikwenyu, is regarded as one of the leading torch bearers of Zimdancehall, who made the genre popular a decade ago.

After his emergence on the scene, Killer T cemented his status as one of the best chanters of his time with classic 2015 album Ngoma Ndaimba.

The album contains some of the biggest songs in Killer T’s catalogue like Kuvhiringa Pattern, Takumbofarawo, Kukosha Kwechikorobho, Kumanikidza Rudo, Maisafanira Kundirega, Haupore, Takumbofarawo and Zvese Zvandairota.
