A BABY girl ‘born with three heads’ because of an unknown medical condition has baffled medics in India. Family members were said to be “in shock” following the birth of the infant last week.
Her mum delivered the baby at a health centre after suffering extreme pain before going into labour. The baby girl has two large protrusions formed from the back of her skull. “The girl child had three heads. She looked like an alien,” said Bijji Thakur, who witnessed the child’s birth.
Her mum had not experienced any complications during her pregnancy, medics said. She was later referred to the District Hospital in Etah as the primary health centre lacked proper medical facilities. Doctors said that they would conduct a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan to determine the exact medical condition of the new-born.— mirror.co.uk
