Woman blocks ED motorcade

© A PRESUMABLY mentally-ill woman delayed President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s departure from his Munhumutapa offices in Harare for Kadoma yesterday when she blocked his motorcade for several minutes.

Mnangagwa reportedly ordered his security details not to harm or chase away the woman who was apparently speaking “in tongues” while a Presidential Guard soldier in a golden beret stood gun in hand just a few metres from her.

After witnessing the weird incident through his window, deputy Information minister Energy Mutodi posted on Twitter that Mnangagwa had intervened and saved the woman from possible harm.

“His Excellency President ED Mnangagwa today ordered his security team not to harm or chase away a suspected mentally-ill woman who stood in front of his motorcade as he was preparing to leave for a Kadoma rally; delaying the motorcade for some minutes,” said Mutodi.
