© ZIMBABWEAN model, Sindiso Ndlovu, 25, recently raised the country’s flag high by reaching top five at the Miss Global International Pageant held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 24.
Ndlovu found herself in the top five after competing with 30 other models from various countries across the globe.
“I am grateful to be in the top five because it just showed me that my hard work did not go unnoticed,” she told the Daily News.
The Zimbabwean representative said she had done exceptionally well in the catwalk and preliminary interview rounds.
Ndlovu said it was her hope that one day she would bring the crown home.
“As a Zim model, I aspire to keep going international and representing my country the best way I know how,” she said.
Other countries that took part in the pageant included Philippines, Indonesia, South Africa and Botswana amongst many others.
The 2019 winner of the global pageant was Miss Vietnam while the first runner-up was Miss South Africa.
“Aside from this pageant in January, I also represented Zimbabwe in India at the Miss Multinational pageant where I landed a position in the top nine,” she said.
Ndlovu added that she is a brand ambassador for Look Alive clothing and she has done various fashion shows like EVA, Harare Fashion Week and ICACN.
Her very first time performance in pageants was at the Miss teen Zimbabwe in 2013.
“I am also working on launching my very own cosmetic line called Pretty by Sindy which is set to be launched at a date to be announced,” Ndlovu said.
