HARARE – Runde Rural District Council (RDC) has opened up investment opportunities in its local authority through the sale of residential, commercial and business stands.
According to a notice by the local authority’s chief executive Gorden Moyo, Runder RDC is offering stands at Mabasa Growth Point, Siboza Rural Service Centre and Doro Business Centre.
The notice comes after Moyo had earlier stated that there was no land for development as most of the land was occupied by land mining companies and small-scale miners.
“Commercial stands available for super markets and small businesses. Institutional stands available for private hospitals, schools, crèches, filling stations and residential stands (360 square metres to 1 500 square metres) at Mabasa Growth Point,” read part of the notice.
At Siboza RSC, there are commercial stands available for supermarkets, lodges, entertainment centres and service industries.
Stands at Siboza which are also available include institutional stands for crèches, schools, poly and private clinics.
The notice also states that there are commercial stands and a space to set up a filling station available at Doro Business Centre.
