Zim artiste collaborates with Ghana’s Stonebwoy

JOHANNESBURG – South Africa-based artiste Tapfuma “T Mula” Nzara has collaborated with award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artistes Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale on a track titled More Champagne.

Collaborating with Stonebwoy, who won the 2015 Black Entertainment Television Awards and Awards Best International Act (Africa) and the self-styled king of Ghanaian dancehall Shatta Wale, is a major coup for the 31-year-old Zimbabwean musician.

T Mula is convinced that the song produced by DJ Champagne, the founder of Ghana-based record label Baby Ras Entertainment, will make him a household name.

“Music has always been my passion but am sure this new song and the videos that I have just dropped will take me to new heights” he told the Daily News from his base in Johannesburg.

The Zimbabwe-born artiste has made his name running elite car rental services in Johannesburg, providing top-of-the-range vehicles to video music productions for top African artistes among them P Square, Davido and Mafikizolo.

“I have forged working relationships with giants in South Africa’s music video production industry that include Justin Campos, the founder of Gorilla Films, and Mike Ogoke, the founder of Godfather Productions.

T Mula has performed at various events. He singles out sharing the stage with Oliver Mtukudzi at Baseline in Johannesburg last year as the highlight of his performing career.

“It was an honour to share the stage with such a legend,” he said, adding he is determined follow in the footsteps of the music legend.

“My ultimate goal is to try to link up with big international stars in the United States of America. I don’t want to limit myself to Africa. I want to do more singles, more collabos with international acts,” said T Mula.
