EDITOR — The plan by government to take their economic blueprint to churches is a step in the right direction.
In fact after a long period of time government has finally proved that they do have grey matter in their heads.
However, I need to point out that it is not their economic blue print that requires attention but themselves.
If it were possible they should carefully select a church (that is spirit-filled) approach its leadership and beg to be prayed for.
A nation whose leadership is directed by God is poised for take off. Drafting a plan first and then approaching God’s people to endorse it is erroneous.
It should happen the other way round. You inquire from God what you must do then after he has responded you execute what he tells you to do.
You cannot ask God to endorse your plan. He says in Isaiah 55:8-9, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts,” declares the Lord.
So what government thinks is a super document that simply needs to be supported by the people might be complete hogwash before God.
If they really want churches to support them, then they should seek God’s opinion on the matter.
