Bosso aware of Triangle threat

BULAWAYO – Highlanders coach Kelvin Kaindu has predicted a tough encounter when his charges play host to Triangle in a Castle Premiership clash at Barbourfields Stadium Wdednesday.

The title chasing Bulawayo giants were given a good run for their money in the two matches that they played against the crack Lowveld outfit earlier this season.

And what makes Wednesday’s encounter more interesting is that Triangle coach Gishon Ntini is on record saying he holds the keys to this year’s championship race.

Ntini said this before his team’s clash with log leaders and defending champions Dynamos which ended in a two all draw in Week 26.

“Our preparations have gone well so far although we are still monitoring Hillary (Madzivanyika) and Dumisani (Ndlovu) who were injured in our last game.

“The trio of (Munyaradzi) Diya, (Bruce) Kangwa and (Innocent) Mapuranga are also carrying light injuries but I am confident that they will be fully fit by the time we take to the field tomorrow (today),” Kaindu said.

The Zambian coach added that his team were on a high after their victory over Harare City in the Mbada Diamonds Cup but pointed out that his team could pay the price if they chose to remain stuck in the past.

“In football you are judged by your performance on that particular day when you are in action and we cannot afford to live on past performances. This is a new game altogether and Triangle are no push overs as experienced by their fine showing in their debut season in the top flight,” said Kaindu.

His opposite number Gishon Ntini did not mince his words and said his charges were coming to Bulawayo for nothing but a victory.

“It will be a tough game but it’s a game that we have to get a result and I have demanded from the players that we should come away with a win.

“We have a mathematical chance of gate crashing our way into the top four and that is something that we have to pursue. It would be a nice bonus if we were to achieve such a feat in our first year in the top flight,” Ntini said.
