HARARE – Archford "Uche" Gutu has backed his former team Dynamos to claim a third straight Castle Premiership title.
The Swedish-based Warriors midfielder said DeMbare are back on track and well positioned to win their third championship on the throat.
Dynamos are joint top of the log with Harare City but the defending champions have a superior goal difference.
“I think Dynamos can win it again. They just have to take each game as it come and take maximum points in the remaining games,” Gutu told the Daily News.
“Dynamos have quality players and some of the players have been together for the past two seasons, they know how it feels to win.
“It is difficult to beat Dynamos at this stage of the season, especially if they are moving towards the championship. It is this piece of history that may be enough to scare their opponents.
“Coach Callisto Pasuwa has done great job and I think he deserves to win another title with DeMbare.”
DeMbare will be without defender Patson Jaure in their next two league matches against Triangle at Gibbo and home to Shabanie Mine after he was red carded in his club’s 1-0 win over Highlanders last weekend.
Saturday: How Mine v Hwange (Luveve), Black Mambas v Monomotapa (Morris Depot), Shabanie Mine v Tripple B (Maglas).
Sunday: Triangle v Dynamos (Gibbo), Chicken Inn v FC Platinum (Luveve), Black Rhinos v Harare City (Rimuka), Motor Action v Highlanders (Rufaro), Buffaloes v CAPS United (Sakubva).
