EDITOR — House of Parliament Speaker Jacob Mudenda, as reported in the press recently, hit the right note when he called for improved administration, governance and productivity from both Parliament’s civil servants and the legislators themselves.
It is shocking to read that of Parliament’s 20 portfolio committees, only two led by David Parirenyatwa and the late Edward Chindori-Chininga were effective.
It apparently got worse in the Upper House.
To Nyati and the late Nyamasvisva may we offer our unreserved congratulations?
And, may we say “shame, shame, shame”, to the rest.
