Daily News relaunches website

HARARE – WE are pleased to inform our loyal readers and advertisers that the Daily News has relaunched its website to ensure that it offers you a better, faster, more easily navigable and user-friendly experience of the latest news and opinions on Zimbabwe.

With our print product now firmly re-established as the biggest daily newspaper in Zimbabwe — following our stunning comeback in March 2011 from eight years of forced closure by President Robert Mugabe’s government — it was indeed long overdue that we turn our focus to our online offering.

This relaunched website is, in that light, a start, with many innovative online projects in the pipeline. Watch this space!

Please add www.dailynews.co.zw to your bookmarks to keep abreast of developments in the run-up to elections in the country.

The Daily News — the country’s biggest media brand by far — is determined to remain independent and true to its masthead slogan of “telling it like it is”, while holding all political players to account, as an essential part of Zimbabwe’s democratic process.

Very importantly, it is also now possible to register on the site, which welcomes all views and allows you to comment on any story.

The Daily News remains fully committed to encourage the proactive involvement of Zimbabweans and well-wishers with an ongoing interest in seeing progress being made in the country by providing them with accurate, fair and balanced news — as well as the appropriate platforms.

Keep following our market-leading news for the best informed and independent coverage of events in Zimbabwe!
