HARARE – Celebrated urban grooves star Nox says wedding bells will not be ringing anytime soon.
Despite being 29 years old the popular musician told the Daily News that his marital prospects have been hampered by his failure to find a girlfriend.
“With my position in the society it is hard for me to find someone who loves me for being me not my fame”, said Nox.
“Many women love me because I am a public figure”.
The Ndinonyara hitmaker dismissed rumours suggesting that he once dated Belinda Magejo and Belinda Mutinhiri.
“The two are just people I mix with in the showbiz industry. There is absolutely nothing more to it.”
Nox’s failure to land “Miss Right” is constantly reflected on his Facebook page.
“If a relationship is giving you more stress than joy, riding solo is the way to go,” he wrote on December 5.
In another post Nox asked why a woman should feel used after sleeping with a guy.
The track Ndipeiwo off his latest 15-track offering “Ice n Roses Volume”, brings out Nox’s battle to find a marriageable partner.
“Ndipeiwo is my prayer to God to help me get a woman; someone who truly loves me.
“Currently I am focusing on my career and putting my life in order before I start looking for a woman. I am not in a rush. I am taking my time until I find “Miss Right”,” he added.
In the song Ndipeiwo Nox pleads to God to help him find a woman who truly loves him and start a family with him as according to African culture.
Nox has been a popular feature on the Zimbabwe music scene since his 2003 hit Iwe Maria.
He has six albums under his belt Wandipengesa, Rhythm and Blues, Kana Musipo, Chapter 3, Music Love and Me, Tisu Tine Yese and Classic Love Songz.
