Sinach’s Harare show unforgettable


HARARE – Gospel-lovers and the Christian community witnessed an unforgettable show by the Loveworld Music Ministry (LMM) team with gospel sensation Sinach Kalu in the lead last Friday in Harare.

Award-winning artiste, Sinach performed for the first time in Zimbabwe at Harare International Conference Centre supported by her full team.

A capacity crowd was left asking for more as the songstress ministered to them through powerful praise and worship lyrics.

She confirmed her earlier claims that she had jetted in the country with a “full package” for the concert.
The gospel queen said she was overwhelmed by the level of affection, oneness and fear of God that Zimbabweans exhibited.

“I am amazed by your love. You are wonderful people and that is why I dedicated a song to you. I can see how much you love your creator,” she said.

The praise and worship icon arrived in the country on Tuesday marking her first visit and performance in Zimbabwe.

She was accompanied by Ikiri Lawrence, Frank Edwards, Martin PK “The Stepper” among others.

Sinach appeared on stage around 20:24 hours amid a deafening noise and excitement from her fans.

She was dressed in a stunning but simple blue dress and shimmering brown and silver shoes, her colours blended well with her team’s colours of black, green and white.

people were filled with excitement as the powerful voice of Sinach reverberated throughout the auditorium when she made her debut appearance on stage.  

She seemed to spiritually invoke through her opening song, I’m ready for your spirit that her tour might be a curtain-raiser for Pastor Chris.

The LMM lead singer mentored by Pastor Chris blended well with the other gospel ministers who included Martin PK “The Stepper”, Frank Edwards and Ikiri Lawrence among others.

“I would like to thank Pastor Ruth and all the other pastors who have been working with me to make this day a memorable one. I would also want to express my gratitude to my mentor Pastor Chris,” said the humble Sinach.

Top Nigerian gospel-rock singer Frank Edwards and spirited South African singer and dancer Martin PK “The Stepper” also lived up to expectations wooing, especially the young among the crowd, with their massive and well-coordinated dancing skills with hit-song Super star number one.

So  touched was Sinach by the warmth and anointing in the auditorium that she exceeded her script by four songs ending the show before midnight with hit song From Glory to Glory.

Christ Embassy Church reports indicate that the gospel icon is spiritually committed to her work and slept after 01:00 hours am from the day of her arrival, teaching the local choir which supported her act.

Local musicians who supported her include young, Blessing Manyangadze, also known as Flame B who gave a breath-taking performance leaving many in the appreciative crowd wondering why he was still unknown in the music industry.

For over 15 years Sinach has been ministering in music alongside Pastor Chris at the Healing School, several crusades and gatherings all over the world.

Sinach has composed and performed songs such as, Great are you Lord, Awesome God, Simply Devoted, I want more of You, You are the fire in me, and All Things Are Possible among others.

Many of her songs are sung by several local churches, played on several radio stations, and continue to be a blessing to people all over the world, her writings influence several worship song leaders, choirs and churches all over the world.

As a gifted vocalist and a multiple award-winning recording artiste, Sinach has recorded and released four platinum audio albums which are gospel best sellers around the world.
