Uncle Waffles descends  on Harare

FAST-RISING female DJ Lungelihle Zwane, popularly known as Uncle Waffles, will perform at the Reserve Bank Sports Club in Mabelreign in Harare for the first time tomorrow courtesy of Impala Music Group.

The event featuring the South Africa-based artiste is meant to celebrate Impala Car Rental’s 15 years of existence.  Uncle Waffles will be supported by local DJs in the form of Chucknosis, Raydizz, Conei, Madeherbelieve and Fugee.

Originally from Eswatini (Swaziland), the 22-year-old Uncle Waffles has not only captured everyone’s attention with her amazing wheel-spinning skills, but she also knows how to keep the crowd entertained with her next-level dance moves.

Killer T heads to Bulawayo

ZIMDANCEHALL chanter Killer T will perform at the Parkview Pub and Grill in Bulawayo tonight and tomorrow he will be in Gwanda at the Phoenix Shisanyama Eyadini where he will be supported by GDA Fire, Roxiebiey, Bry and Zagoe.

FASHION designer Fungai Muzorora, who is part of the popular television reality show Battle of the Ankara on DStv is launching her fashion and art collection themed The Braided Birthmark today at the Artillery Tribal and Contemporary Art in Harare.

“The Braided Birthmark is a collection that is highly influenced by the Battle of the Ankara” said Muzorora.Fashion Exhibitions seek to show off the original artistic designs of a fashion designer and launching them for the market.

THE above Harare joint is hosting the Big Show concert tomorrow to raise mental health awareness in the society. The event will feature Holy Ten, Anita Jackson and DJs among others. The event, aimed at promoting safe space to talk about mental health, is being organised by Women’s Gallery.

Gospel singer Mai Banda unveils new singles

THE United States-based gospel singer Mai Banda will tonight launch two singles Amazing and Vhangeri which featured Pastor Prince Mafukidze at 99 Parklane Avenue in the capital.

She will share the stage with Patience Mandizha and Jonah Chivasa. Comedian Prosper Ngomashi aka Comic Pastor will also grace the launch.

Shepy Tarzy Birthday Celebrations

AT LEAST six big names in the music industry are set to share the stage at City Sports Bar in the capital tonight in celebration of music promoter Shepy Tarzy birthday.

The musicians include Jah signal, Roki, Sulumani Chimbetu, T Gonzi, Uncle Epatan, Extra Large and Diamond Boys from Mutare.

Young artiste joins anti-drug abuse crusade

CHEDENGA Foundation Trust in conjunction with Theatre in the Park will tomorrow host the official launch of Munzira, an anti-drug/substance abuse track by budding hip-hop artiste MyCole Biller and dancehall artiste VChaks.

The event dubbed “An ear for MyCole Biller” will also see the launch of the video to the track.
