WOMEN’s Affairs minister, Monica Mutsvangwa, will headline a stellar 3Ktv and Jester Media Services (JMS) early Women’s Day gathering to be held at Cresta Lodge in Harare tomorrow.
JMS general manager for events, Christina Nyirenda-Chimuka, said the event was meant to inspire young girls and women through celebrating women’s achievements.
“Tomorrow’s significant event is a muchneeded opportunity for the country to hear from women from different backgrounds, including about their life experiences. “Women’s Day, which is commemorated on March 8 internationally, celebrates the many strong, smart, confident, innovative, talented and beautiful women in Zimbabwe and around the world,” she said.
JMS is the parent company of some of the country’s most important and influential media brands that include the Daily News, the Daily News On Sunday, The Financial Gazette and 3Ktv. Tomorrow’s event will be graced by many of Zimbabwe’s movers and shakers, including from the corporate world and the public sector, as well as celebrated influencers.
“It is great that the JMS group is proudly hosting this Women’s Day event at a time that we are celebrating the second anniversary on 3Ktv, which — like its sister operations — has done a lot to lift and affirm women. “It is thus very fitting that 3Ktv will be powering this major gathering, with the support of its sibling media assets,” NyirendaChimuka said.
Meanwhile, The Financial Gazette — the country’s number one business publication — will today hold the annual and mega Tax Review breakfast meeting in the capital.
